SCHOOL DISCIPLINE

  • THE SCHOOL UNIFORM

1. Every student must have two pairs of school uniform. It is necessary for every child to come to school wearing the correct school uniform very neatly and polished black shoes on weekdays. Parents will be called for incorrect and untidy uniform. Sports uniform is to be worn on Thursday with white keds.

  • PUNCTUALITY

2. Every student must be in school five minutes before the first bell. If pupil is late he/she is liable to sent home at the parents own risk. No child is permitted to leave the school premises during the recess or otherwise, except with the permission of principal.

  • COURTESY

3. Pupils should always greet teachers, elders and guests in a pleasant tone of voice wherever they meet them, in school or outside. They shall be polite in speaking to one another, using the four golden words. viz. ‘Please, Thank you, Sorry and Excuse me’. They should always avoid the use of slang and common expressions.

  • SCHOOL CLEANLINESS

4. All must consider their responsibility to keep the school premises clean. Every child must be particularly careful to avoid throwing waste papers, fruit peels etc. on the school ground or corridors. Use should be made of waste paper basket and bins.

  • CARE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY

5. Children should take special care of school property i.e. furniture, apparatus etc. Any damage done to the school property must be made good.

  • BEHAVIOUR OUTSIDE SCHOOL

6. Pupils are answerable to the School Authorities for their conduct both in school and outside. They ought always to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the dignity of a human beings & honourable students of this educational institution. Misbehavior, indiscipline and disobedience justifies dismissal from school records.

  • ADMISSION

7. New admission will be made subject to there being vacancies. No correspondence will be entertained regarding admission. No recommendations are valid and enforced.
8. Parents or guardians are given to understand that they cannot dictate to the management and administration and that the Principal along with the management has the right to decide, on what terms and conditions it will admit or retain pupils in the school.
9. New pupils are admitted at the beginning of the first term on payment in advance of the admission fee and school fees for the entire term. The amount thus collected will not be refunded even if the pupil, for any reason, should leave the school immediately after admission.
10.A candidate who joins fresh from home or from a private school has to produce an official birth certificate such as Grampanchayat, Muncipality or Muncipal Corporation certificate in support of the date of birth to be entered in the admission Form.
11. According to Government regulation only pupils who complete six years on date of admission can be admitted to standard First and corresponding scale of age is fixed for the subsequent standard.
12.If the pupil comes from a school outside the state, the Transfer Certificate must be countersigned by the education officer of that state.

  • WITHDRAWAL

13.A calendar month’s notice is to be given before the withdrawal of a pupil or the fees will be charged for the next semester. Such notice should be given in writing by person responsible for the pupil, not by the pupil himself.
14.No leaving Certificate is given until all sums due to the school have been paid in full.

  • EXAMINATION & PROMOTION

15.Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year’s work of the pupil. The final examination is not a promotion examination. Hence, the importance is given to regularity in attendance and home work. Pupil must therefore work steadily from the beginning of the year.
16.There will be test(s) and oral(s) after every chapter in all subjects in every class.
17.Annual average will be calculated for all class tests in all the subjects for all the classes after completion of every chapter. There will be annual gradations scheme of marking.
18.Pupils absent from examination without a grave reason will be considered as failed. Pupils absent for any particular subject in an examination will not be re-examined.
19.No textbooks, notebooks or other papers are to be brought into examination hall students must bring their own instrument box, eraser, pencil etc. They are not allowed to leave their seats without the permission of the Supervisor – in-charge of the examination hall.
20.Students copying or using unfair means during test/examination or discovered
subsequently will be dealt with severely. Those found guilty will be entitled to secure zero in the respective paper.
21.Entries in the Evaluation Report are for the information of the parents and are not be relied upon if they are found to be erased or altered. Parents should contact the Principal if they suspect that the marks have been altered without the Class Teacher’s initials.
22.All promotions and detentions are decided only after careful consideration of all aspects of the pupil’s progress. Hence the decision of Principal in this regard is final and binding.
23.An application for the verification of marks, in special cases, may be considered at the discretion of the Principal. Answer papers will not be shown under any circumstances. No requests should be made.
24.35% of marks shall be required to pass in each subject.
25.A student must have 80-85% attendance during the year.

  • GENERAL RULES

26.Pupils are forbidden to take part in any political or other organizations likely to result in violence or communal disturbances.
27.No books other than those prescribed may be brought onto the school premises without permission of the school authorities. No gadgets should be brought to school.
28.Any damage done in class or about the premises will have to be made good by the pupil.The decision of the Principal regarding the amount to be paid shall be final.
29.Every pupil should endeavor to keep up to the dignity of the school, by excelling in good manners. Hence, for the smooth running of the school, no student may bring into the school any article/gadget/object which may prove a source of disturbance.
30.Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases will not be permitted in school. They will be sent home for the welfare of the students attending school. Medical certificate will be required upon rejoining.
31.Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview the teachers during school hours.
32.Neither present nor any gift to the teachers is allowed. No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be made without prior permission of the Principal.
33.Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. It is not advisable for pupils to bring money or valuable articles with them.
34.A record of the addresses of parents/guardians is maintained in the school office, and they are requested to communicate any change without delay.
35.The engagement of private tutors may prove injurious to real progress of the student. Parents are requested not to engage tutors without consulting the school authorities.
36.Parents must shoulder their responsibilities by co-operating fully in the task of education by seeing to the regular studies of the child and encouraging him or her to participate in the activities of the school. They should faithfully attend all school functions, with no dishonour to the rules communicated by the principal.
37.The school Management and the Principal reserves the right to add, alter or amend any of these rules and the same shall be binding on all concerned.

  • IMPORTANT TIPS TO STUDENTS REGARDING STUDIES

38.First take up studies you dislike. Once you have done this the rest of your work will be easy.
39.Never hesitate to ask your teacher or your clever companion things you do not grasp clearly. Never leave difficulties as they will put you into greater difficulties later.
40.Never omit lessons or homework assigned.
41.Always revise the work done in class and make sure that you have understood everything clearly and thoroughly.
42.If memory work is assigned, learn it over night and revise it in the morning.
43. Use your calendar to take down the work assigned for the next day.
44.All homework should be done neatly and the day’s work appropriately.
45.Revise at the end of week.
46.Realise the value of time, do not wait till the approach of the examination. The key to success is regular and sincere work. Revise your lessons and get your difficulties solved.

61. New books will be issued on appointed days.
62. No one may keep the book for more than 7 days only.
63. A book may be issued for a further period 7 days if there is no demand for it.
64. Students should handle the books carefully.
65. If a book is misplaced or damage the student will have to pay the cost or replace the book.
